Phosphorous industrial fertilizers with nitrogen (NP)

Industrial fertilizers containing two basic nutrient elements nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P).

Phosphorus is one of the nutrient elements that plants consume in the largest amount. It is important for plants especially in the reproductive stages of life and during flowering. Phosphorus is part of cell membranes, DNA, enzymes and proteins. Plants use it in photosynthesis, genetic transmission, nutrient transport and lipid bilayer formation. When there is an insufficient amount of phosphorus, genetic processes are disrupted, because this element is a key molecular component of the genetic reproduction of plants.

Phosphorus is a mobile element in plants, which means that they can transport it wherever they need it, and that is why the lack of phosphorus first manifests itself in the oldest leaves. The leaves of plants affected by phosphorus deficiency have a dark green to blue-violet color, are limp, and necrotic spots form on them. If we do not supply the plants with the necessary nutrients at this stage, the stems will also begin to wither.

Although approximately three-quarters of the total amount of phosphorus is absorbed by plants in the first quarter of their life, this element is important for plants throughout the growing season and absolutely indispensable during flowering.
